The Plugged pendant lamp plays with the elements most lighting armatures try to hide. It emphasizes how the lamp is “brought to life” thereby giving it character and difference.

Bulky plays with proportion and shape to create a tea set that adds fun and lightness to the kitchen or table setting. Made from porcelain, the playful design concept is inspired by children's fairy tales.

The Bulky tea set consists of a tea pot, tea cup, sugar bowl, milk jug and cookie jar.

Tina draws inspiration from many sources. The fluid lines of her silhouettes are reminiscent of the blue sea, while the organic contours of each piece emulate the curves of nature. Creativity blooms from treasures found during travel, and mouthwatering colors spring from translucent popsicles and scrumptious jelly beans.

The pieces in the collection are hand sculpted by Tina Frey in San Francisco, California. Sculpting starts with an idea which focuses on simplicity and function.

The idea serves as the backbone when Tina sculpts each piece in clay. Hand made molds are created from each design and are used to cast the vessels in small batches by color. Each piece is hand sanded and carries a unique beauty that ensures the quality and integrity of each piece.

Bella Coffee Table is a site-specific design made for the luxury hotel Bella Sky in Copenhagen, and it offers a perfect side table for a few small items. The matt stain, which is available in a range of contemporary colours, lets the natural grain of the wood shine through.

No furniture series is complete without a bar stool. About a Stool is perfect as, well, a bar stool but also for informal meetings or meals. It has the same capacity for transformation as the other members of the family and ranges from a minimalist and simple plastic stool to a sensuous upholstered version with a weightier presence. Here, About a Stool stands on Nordic legs in soap-finished or lacquered oak or ash wood stained black, an option that gives the bar stool optical weight and feet that are planted firmly on the ground.

Copenhague is a furniture series designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec especially for the new buildings at the University of Copenhagen. In addition to a homely and welcoming expression, functional furniture qualities such as stackability, durability and ease of cleaning were important design requirements for the university. The Bouroullec brothers approach the task by merging design history with modern technology in an idiom with a strong and independent appearance in a broad and versatile series that embraces both public and private environments.

Copenhague Chair is two x two chair legs that meet in an inverse V and two moulded veneer shells that meet in the middle. The sharply bent veneer consists of multiple delicate layers laminated with cheesecloth to make the shell extra strong and give the chair the springy flexibility that is essential in a backrest. The technique was pioneered by the first cantilevered chairs of the Bauhaus school, but here, the university’s practical need for stackability has been incorporated into the design, which makes it possible to stack as many as eight chairs together. The stackability also comes in handy in a private home, making it easy to store spare chairs for extra dinner guests.

Folklore HK’s studio has come up with this one of a kind concept of showcasing the ‘Life’ aspect of Hong Kong. This illustration is set in an old-fashioned three-storey building in Hong Kong and the pair of carps symbolises harmony of a marriage in the family. Mid-autumn festival is another tradition people in Hong Kong celebrate which is illustrated here. People decorate their apartments with lanterns and relatives travel from different parts of Hong Kong to gather for family dinners.

Folklore HK’s studio has come up with this one of a kind concept of showcasing the ‘Celebration’ aspect of Hong Kong. Chinese New Year is one of the biggest festivals in Hong Kong and we have depicted the lion dance through these illustrations. ’Dragon’ symbolises prosperity, longevity and renewal of life in Chinese mythology. Hence, throughout the illustration, we have woven the bodies of the dragons to resonate the same.
