As a member of the HKASA, all Harry Wright International competitive swimmers are eligible to register and compete in HKASA recognized swim meets at local, regional, national and international levels. Our competitive swim team squad allows for pathways of excellence. We also provide further opportunities for competitive swimmers including:
• time trials
• regular sprint meets
• regular inter-club meets

All swimmers training with Harry Wright International are eligible to join the Barracudas Swimming Club and/or Mantas Swimming Club which provides swimmers with the opportunity to travel abroad to compete.

We provide Learn to Swim activities for children of all ages. Within the course times, lessons are divided by age groups and ability levels. The range and number of classes offered is flexible and caters for all ability levels for learners. In conjunction with recognized associations and organizations we have developed a modern curriculum and pathways for success. The curriculum allows students to progress at their own pace and brings consistency to the programme. Once students have met the attainment tasks of the activity, they may proceed to a higher ability level.

Our programme begins with our unique Parent and Infant lessons developed over many years from the philosophy of the late Captain Harry Wright and developed and refined by his daughter and former HKASA Coach of the Year, Jayne Wright. These lessons focus on teaching parents how to submerge and release their babies safely and happily and how to introduce the basics of kick and pull.
